Because falling asleep during some activities like walking, driving, or cooking can have drastic effects, narcolepsy is a dangerous sleep disorder. In addition, the social consequences of narcolepsy are serious.

A Night Owl

What is a NIGHT OWL? According to WordNet, it refers to a person who likes to be active late at night. And that's what I am. Yesterday I stayed up until 4 in the morning blogging my thoughts away and working of course. Well, you might find it peculiar but I can't help it. My brain is more active and functional at night. They say it is normal and is not related to insomnia (some kind of a sleeping disorder) so there's nothing to worry about just as long you still get the right amount of sleep in a day. Hmmn.. what do you think?

i.PH Changes

Well, I noticed that there are some changes on the i.PH blogging platform. You will see the changes right away when you log on to your account. Once in the blogging dashboard, if you turn edit on, there's already a separate tool for PLUG-INS where you can choose and activate some plug-ins that you find useful. So far those are just some of the changes I noticed. I still need more time to explore.  

Barracuda Acquires Netcontinuum

Yes, you’ve read that right! Barracuda Networks Inc., the worldwide leader in email and Web security appliances, has recently acquired NetContinuum, the leading provider of Web Application Firewalls. The company was excited to announce this last September 17, 2007 as this makes them a strong contender in the Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) market. Along with this acquisition is the merge of the  NetContinuum’s 75 employees in the Barracuda Networks team.
