Building a Steel Building

August 11, 2011
The steel building my bro-in-law is installing is almost done! He said he’s going to turn it into a man cave. Haha! Well, I’m not so sure about that since he needs to get a permission from the higher court. By that I mean my sister. But as far as I know, she has other plans for that building. She will turn it into her very own craft area. Poor bro! Haha! Well, I just hope they can agree on something. Maybe they should share the space 50/50. That way no one comes home with tears on his/her eyes. LOL!

Park Model Homes

August 6, 2011
Just a few blocks from where we live is a mobile home community. But it’s not like any other mobile home communities that you’ve seen or visited so far. It’s like an upscale community because of their location and amenities. I’ve already seen some of their park model homes and I was really impressed! The layout is nice and the rooms are spacious. You can’t even tell it’s a mobile home by the way it looks. So for those looking for affordable house and a place to live in, you might want to check out the Taylorsville Area. There are lots of apartment and mobile home communities for you to choose from.

Internet Conference Calls

August 5, 2011

I’m so glad that internet conference calls is readily available these days. Now it’s easy for me to keep in touch with my family who are thousands of miles away from me. And because it’s online, I get to save more money because it’s way more affordable than making long distance calls. I also like the fact that I get to talk to my friends and families overseas altogether at once. It’s just like having them over for dinner! It’s really fun so whoever invented this technology, thank you so much! You’ve given families, friends and even businesses a way to connect and keep in touch with people who are important to them regardless of the distance.

Mimicking What I See on Master Chef

August 3, 2011
Guest post written by Carol Patterson

I really love watching cooking shows. It’s so interesting to see what different takes people have taken on classic dishes. But just watching the same person cook different dishes over and over again can get kind of boring. So instead, I’ve started watching Master Chef more often because I like to see all of the different dishes that people make when they’re given the same ingredients. It’s quite interesting, plus the drama of the reality competition adds a little more interest to it.

I like to keep up with contestants that I like and see how they cook dishes and cheer them on. But I also read up on what the contestants who have been kicked off are up to. While I was researching that one night, I ran across the website www.WIRELESSinternet.net and after I looked through it some I decided to change over my home internet access to a package that I found on that website.

I found a really great blog that goes through and explains a lot about each Master Chef episode, including who fixed what, who was in the top three, the bottom three and who was eliminated. Stuff that you need to know in case you missed an episode.

A New Phone for My Sister

July 17, 2011

My sister needs a new cell phone because the one she’s using right now is acting up. Sometimes she can’t get a signal and her phone would automatically restart itself whenever there’s an incoming call. It’s really annoying! What if there’s an emergency right? So I told her to keep track of the htc price in the market so that when it goes down, I can buy her a new one. She wanted the HTC Incredible S smartphone and she will have it soon if and when fate favors us.

By the way, here’s some of the cool specs of the HTC Incredible S Smartphone just in case you want to know:

The alluring HTC Incredible S smartphone combines cutting-edge design with a premium mobile experience for those who dare to be different. Showing what can be achieved when engineers and designers work together to raise the bar for mobile phone design, the HTC Incredible S smartphone features a stunning, contoured body that highlights the internal hardware components of the device. Capturing and viewing video in crystal clear High-Definition has never been so easy and a bright 4-inch WVGA Super LCD display and stereo surround sound bring a vibrant cinematic experience to the palm of your hand.

HTC Incredible S also takes high quality pictures with its 8-megapixel camera with dual flash, and it easily enables videos, photos and music to be shared from the handset direct to a TV using DLNA® technology. Thanks to the HTC Incredible S’s front facing camera and video call functionality, users will constantly be able to chat with their friends face-to-face.

Party Organizer

July 16, 2011

I love organizing parties for my friends. Be it a birthday party or a wedding event, you can always count on me. As a matter of fact, me and my friends are organizing another baby shower for our dear friend C next month. As usual, I was assigned to make the program as well as the invites for the party. I was also tasked to look for personalized baby shower gifts and sign up online for the baby gift registry. We all need to know what we’re buying for the expectant mom to avoid duplicates. And we’re also meeting up next week to plan the menu for the party and of course the games and prizes.Well, there’s so much left to do before the party but I’m confident that we can pull it off like we always do. :)

Beading Jargon

July 9, 2011
Do you have any idea what a ring mandrel is? Well, don’t ask me because I don’t know either! LOL! I had to google it just so I’ll know what my friend is talking about. Turns out, she’s chattering about her beading hobby. I learned that ring mandrels are used for looping and sizing wires. And these beading tools come in different shapes and sizes depending on where you plan to use them. There’s a specific mandrel for making rings, bracelets and bangles. If you want to learn more beading jargons, I suggest you check out beadaholique.com. It’s a great help and you can actually start a new hobby because they offer FREE beading projects. Have fun beading! :)
