Home Renovation
February 3, 2010One of my goals this year is to renovate the laundry area of my parents’ home. I will hire someone to install tiles on the floor and I will also have the faucets replaced. My lil sister told me that it’s the only area of the house that hasn’t been updated yet so I volunteered to have it renovated. And because I’m the one paying for it, I get to choose the color motif! It could be any color except GREEN! LOL! Why not? Because our house is already covered in that color. From the gate, walls, floor tiles, and even our kitchenware are green. That’s why this time I want a different color for a change.
Eat and Make Up…
Last Christmas, hubby got a Bluetooth headset from his best buddy at work. Of course, he was very grateful but was embarassed as well because he didn’t get her any present. Not even a Christmas card! So to make it up to her, we invited her to a dinner date last Friday at Tucanos. It’s a Brazilian Restaurant that serves all varieties of meat fresh off the grill! We tried all their grilled meat cuts as well as veggies and fruits and went home very full. We could barely stand up from our seats with all the food we ate. LOL!
Gone Green!
Spring is almost here so I changed the theme to welcome it. Like it?
Well, don’t care if you don’t. LOL! This is my blog and I’m going to do whatever I like. In my eyes, it looks refreshing and green is the color or money so perhaps this blog will bring me more moolah this year. How’s that eh?

Still Lucky!
January 24, 2010Our friends went to Park City yesterday to join the festivities of the Sundance Festival but their RV broke so they have no choice but to cancel their plans that day. They immediately called a towing service in SLC. Good thing though the damage was not that big and the RV has an extended service plan so it was fixed right away. But they had to wait until morning before they drove back to Park City to avoid the snow storm raging that night.
Poor Mini…
My HP Mini went bonkers 2 nights ago so hubby brought her back to Bestbuy. Good thing she is still under warranty which means they will fix her for free or replace it with a new one if it’s beyond repair. But you know.. I still want my old Mini. We have been through a lot together and I can’t imagine parting with her.

No More Weddings!
Finally I can take a break from writing wedding ads. LOL! Just one more task and I’m good to go. Wohooo! Well, I’m not going anywhere. Haha! I’m just gonna get some sleep so that later today, I will have enough energy to go around and shop for pasalubong. Balikbayan Box No. 3 is not yet full that’s why we are shopping overtime so we can fill it up ASAP and send it before we leave for a month-long vacation in the Philippines.
Thirsteeh!
Not me but my brain! I feel like it’s already dehydrated. Haha! Well, that’s what happens when you stay up all night blogging your thoughts away. But I have no choice but to work overtime. Work has been pouring a lot lately and I am so thankful for that. That is why I am working real hard to meet the deadlines. That’s life! You gotta work hard to play hard!
