 I AM GRACEFUL!

You are the type of person who always knows what to say or what to do. You are good at putting yourself in someone else’s shoes. You try not to be picky, and whenever possible, you avoid gossiping or complaining. You believe in smiling if you don’t feel happy and laughing when the joke is on you. You have a mature attitude.

Rapid Detox

August 21, 2010
These days, almost everything is done in rush. Even in treating drug addiction, therapists have come up with an effective fast-track treatment plan which they call rapid opiate detox. In this procedure, a patient is sedated using anesthesia to accelerate the withdrawal process. This is done to help people addicted to opiates/narcotics overcome the bulk of physical addiction. You can learn more about this procedure by visiting one of the country’s best rapid detox centers.  You can check out their website at www.rapiddetoxlasvegas.com. They have board-certified doctors who are very willing to answer your questions regarding rapid detox and what it can do for you or your loved ones needing rehabilitation.

Rustic Home

Last weekend, I had the chance to accompany my friend to go shopping for rustic furniture for her newly renovated home. They plan to throw a housewarming party next month but before that, they need to fill the rooms with furniture first. They got rid most of their old furniture because it doesn’t match the new theme of their house which is rustic. So now they’re still shopping for furniture and decors to complete the new look of their lovely home.

Changing Rules and Costs on TV Watching

August 20, 2010

The bills on cable subscriptions are starting to hit me. How does one learn budgeting specially to those things you know you like to have or enjoy everyday? Yes, I know that we just cannot spend much than we can earn… and if we had to spend, it should be done wisely. But seriously, I need some budgeting this time. I think there are ways to retain this pleasure spent at a lesser cost. I heard about Direct TV dealers online which I know I could avail of. This has more affordable tv pricing than the usual cable TV subscriptions I have. Like I said, it’s time to make changes… it’s time to switch to direct satellite tv offers. Maybe I was just too busy again for work and I didn’t seem to notice that I’m the only person in town whose not into this. Even Mr. Parker, whose living alone in a house two blocks from us had that. Where was I when they knew this? Probably in the office, finishing work again (lol!). Thanks to this month’s bill on cable, I was able to realize the urgency of budgeting for TV watching. It’s not making me smile anymore when I get to see my bills with increased rates again.

Dish TV will make us save almost half of our usual bills on regular plus we get to have more channels to access. They have more full-time channels in HD than any other cable or satellite provider. I heard that it’s on the process of accessing to over 160 HD channels. My family have fun with movies and games often that’s why we can’t afford to cut it off our system. With this, we have a lot to choose from. I wonder how much arguing we will have in deciding what movie to watch or TV series to follow. And I remember, with Direct TV, we get to watch Football every week-end on TV! If there are problems, I know that Customer Service a Representatives will be nice and kind enough to address our needs. When I compared this to the regular cable TV watching, it is way much better in terms of quality, costs, convenience and number of channels. It’s definitely settling for the best deal in TV watching. I just had to find a way to make us enjoy watching at lesser cost and now that I did, the next thing is learning how to watch over more than 200 channels of sports, movies, and family entertainment. We’ll be ready for that.

Prepare Your Future: Have an Affordable Life Insurance

August 18, 2010

I have never appreciated the importance of an accident and illness insurance until my son got sick and spent one whole week in the hospital. The hospital bill was overwhelming that all our savings went to it.

I used to be close minded when it comes to insurances. I felt that it was just a waste of money. One lady approached my husband before and offered him a cheap funeral insurance. At first, I disapproved to the idea but after a careful consideration, I gave in. Besides, everyone will eventually reach that point in life.

The life insurance had been a battleground for us. Aside from being expensive, I have heard pre-need companies that suddenly closed and the beneficiaries were left with nothing. But the funeral insurance came with a very affordable life insurance so it was not an option for me to say no. It was a package deal.

Winter Preps

Winter will soon be here that’s why as early as now I am already sorting my winter wardrobe. I need to get rid of some of my coats and warmers because they are already a bit tight for me. It’s either I gained weight or the dryer shrunk them. LOL! I also need to buy a new electric blanket because the old one retired on me already. I don’t think I’ll survive the harsh winter here in Utah without one so it’s really a must-have for me.

The Thought Bubble Test

August 17, 2010

My Thoughts Are Constructive!

You are a highly analytical person, and you tend to sit back and cooly assess a situation. With you, logic and facts rule. And you never jump to conclusions. You are always looking to think in new ways. You believe that reflecting is a good way to better yourself. You tend to think before you talk or act. You are calmer than most people around you.

On this day of your life, Cherry, we believe God wants you to know… that tomorrow you will harvest the seeds you sow today.

What kind of seeds do you need to sow today, so tomorrow turns into the dream you have always wanted?
