When I was a kid, I had a love/hate relationship with summer. I loved how it gave me time to be with my family and friends to go on picnics and go to the beaches. Especially the beaches! I love water! I just love how it hydrates and cools my skin. When we can’t go to the beach, my mom would then take us to my aunt’s house because they had a small pool.

Even though we never had a pool, I know how taxing it was for the helpers to clean it. They need to rake the water for fallen leaves and they needed to put an expensive solution on the water to “treat” it. My mom never wanted a pool because of these reasons. I also had a friend who has two massive swimming pools. I can just imagine the cost and effort to maintain them.
