Changing Rules and Costs on TV Watching

August 20, 2010

The bills on cable subscriptions are starting to hit me. How does one learn budgeting specially to those things you know you like to have or enjoy everyday? Yes, I know that we just cannot spend much than we can earn… and if we had to spend, it should be done wisely. But seriously, I need some budgeting this time. I think there are ways to retain this pleasure spent at a lesser cost. I heard about Direct TV dealers online which I know I could avail of. This has more affordable tv pricing than the usual cable TV subscriptions I have. Like I said, it’s time to make changes… it’s time to switch to direct satellite tv offers. Maybe I was just too busy again for work and I didn’t seem to notice that I’m the only person in town whose not into this. Even Mr. Parker, whose living alone in a house two blocks from us had that. Where was I when they knew this? Probably in the office, finishing work again (lol!). Thanks to this month’s bill on cable, I was able to realize the urgency of budgeting for TV watching. It’s not making me smile anymore when I get to see my bills with increased rates again.

Dish TV will make us save almost half of our usual bills on regular plus we get to have more channels to access. They have more full-time channels in HD than any other cable or satellite provider. I heard that it’s on the process of accessing to over 160 HD channels. My family have fun with movies and games often that’s why we can’t afford to cut it off our system. With this, we have a lot to choose from. I wonder how much arguing we will have in deciding what movie to watch or TV series to follow. And I remember, with Direct TV, we get to watch Football every week-end on TV! If there are problems, I know that Customer Service a Representatives will be nice and kind enough to address our needs. When I compared this to the regular cable TV watching, it is way much better in terms of quality, costs, convenience and number of channels. It’s definitely settling for the best deal in TV watching. I just had to find a way to make us enjoy watching at lesser cost and now that I did, the next thing is learning how to watch over more than 200 channels of sports, movies, and family entertainment. We’ll be ready for that.
