One Sleep to Go!
August 31, 2010One more sleep to go and it’s my big day already! I am so excited! Hubby promised to take me to my favorite shopping stores so I can shop to my heart’s content. It’s been two months since the last time I bought something for myself at the women’s apparel department so this time I am going to reward myself with something really nice. I’m actually thinking of buying a new trench coat for winter but we’ll see how it goes once I’m inside the store.

Freelancing to Online Casino Games: Work and Play From Home
From video conferencing to online collaboration tools and other easy ways to conduct business remotely, people can do many jobs from anywhere. We all know entertainment has moved in that direction with much of our favorite pastimes like movies, music, books, and online casino games available on the Internet at any time day or night. For many of us, our work is beginning to follow a similar pattern.
If you’re self-employed, either with an online business or as a freelancer, you’ll have the most freedom, but many companies are beginning to see the value in giving their employees the flexibility to telecommute. Productivity levels tend to increase when people can choose the work schedule that suits them. In addition, a flexible schedule lets employees take care of personal errands, business, or tend to sick children without missing work.
Some of the technology and tools that make working from home, or anywhere, possible include online software, instant messaging, Internet-based phone systems, widely available wireless Internet connections, do-it-all smartphones, and a multitude of forums and social sites geared toward helping freelancers and small business owners. Many of these tools are free or inexpensive.
One of the biggest benefits of working from home is the freedom to spend more time with your family, make time to exercise, and have more fun. For example, you can put time saved on your daily commute toward workouts or playtime with the kids. Many find their health improves dramatically because they can more easily take breaks for physical activity, don’t eat out as much, and can in general be less sedentary.
Message from God
… that life is not meant to be a speedway. Slow down to savor the gifts that God has already showered you with.
Securing the Family Through an Awesome Home Surveillance System
August 22, 2010Being away from my husband for a year is definitely a valid reason for me to worry about our home security. I have been pondering much on how to protect myself and my daughter since we are the only ones who use the house. Moreover, there will be many times that I will be spending our weekdays in my parent’s house which means that no one is actually around our place that time. My first choice now is to purchase a security video camera. While on online shopping this weekend, I found a really nice one from RadioShack which is great for supervising the lobby of our house.
Another home security equipment that I’m considering is a home surveillance system with advanced features that could activate and deactivate my security system with a security password and access to Police, Medical, and Fire emergency service with just a single touch. ADT perfectly has these as they are an authorized dealer of home security equipment. They have the latest gadget that would fit each family’s security needs.
