Gold Coins

June 30, 2010

If you are confused how to invest your hard earned money to something that is secured and protected, then try learning about buying gold coins and bullion. While others rely on keeping their money on banks hoping that a 2% annual interest is the best they can do for their money, there are others who are wiser to buy gold coins as investments knowing gold can multiply their money’s worth.

When all investments significantly decrease in value, gold remains high in value all the time. There is no need to be hesitant even knowing the fluctuations in the financial market because the United States Gold Bureau ensures stability on the gold coins you buy from them. To fear losing your earned money is just normal, which makes us choose wisely. To buy gold coins does not only protect our money, it also gives us peace of mind and sense of drive to continue working hard not just for ourselves but for our loved ones as well. No strategy is much better than that.

Always Up to Something!

June 26, 2010

My lil boy just turned 16 months old yesterday and he has grown into one energetic toddler. He is all over the house and always up to something. He now knows how to open and close the door that’s why we always keep an eye on him. But he’s pretty sneaky you know. Yesterday I caught him sneaking into our bathroom quietly and saw him open the toilet bowl. He was about to throw hubby’s flash drive in there but I caught him right on time.

What Kind of Home Should You Live In?

June 18, 2010

A very fitting quiz for me because we are planning to move into a new home again this year! And based on my answers, the result said that I should live in a COUNTRY HOME.

For you, the most relaxing home possible reminds you of the home you grew up in. You like a house with a personal touch. You like to know it’s actually your home. Your ideal home is filled with beautiful (but not necessarily expensive) things. You can’t stand an empty home. You believe a home should be well lived in.

Well said! I entirely agree with this. My dream home is a country home with a modern touch especially in the kitchen. I love to cook and having a complete set of modern kitchen appliances would really make me the happiest woman on earth. But of course, I’ll make sure I’ll have a stock of diet teas and phentermine in my pantry to make sure I don’t gain that much weight because aside from cooking, I also love to eat what I cook. Well, what can I do? I love my own!

So Happy for My Friends!

June 17, 2010

I am so happy for my friends L and D because finally, D’s  application for a Social Security Disability Insurance and Medicare benefit has been approved. They waited for more than a year and had been denied twice but they didn’t give up. Instead they pushed for a disability appeal and was approved on their third try. Thanks to a friend of theirs who helped them find a good lawyer.

3 Tips to Success in NFL Betting

June 16, 2010
The NFL league, the sports league that makes all Americans go crazy, is not only found all over the country. It can be found all over the Internet as well. The NFL’s popularity has expanded worldwide, especially among bettors. Many people watch the NFL league live, on TV, and on the Internet, trying to be virtually present in the game. These people make themselves present by betting. If the number of people who watch these games is large, imagine how large the amount of money placed into bets in NFL betting is.

But, what determines if a bettor will be successful or not? The difference lies in the strategy each person takes at the time of betting. If you want help in succeeding, try to consider these three secrets that will help you bet.

1. Emotions are your biggest enemy at the time of NFL betting. Make sure you do not get carried away; use your head, come up with a strategy, and, most important, budget your money. We all know how tempting it is to place real high bets, especially when they can give you an astonishing profit. However, be wise. Set aside some money for betting, and stick to it. Play safe with your budget.

2. If you are not sure, bet small amounts. If you feel unsure of how much to bet, bet on the lowest amount possible. The same happens for when you do not know who to bet for. Placing small amounts when you are not sure is the best way to play.

3. It is frequent that investors will convince you of not redeeming in your investment, commonly known as lulling. Avoid getting lulled by fad bets. These can specially take place whenever you are willing to place an extra dollar per bet each time. Remember that, at the long run, you may not receive any cash.

If you follow these three simple NFL betting tips, you have assured your success. Good luck!

A Swimming Pool for Teens

June 15, 2010

When Jim and Mary had teenage children, they wanted to provide a way for them to have friends over where the parents could supervise them. They wanted to make their home an attractive place for teens, with an outdoor activity to lure them away from bedrooms and reclusiveness. Their solution was to install an above ground swimming pool.

During the spring, summer, and fall, their house was a gathering place for many teens, church parties, and Boy Scout activities. They knew where the kids were and what they were doing. You can pretty well monitor a swimming pool by noise level.

To provide for safety, Jim and Mary installed a fence between the pool and the street to keep neighborhood children from sneaking in. The pool was only about four feet deep, so with teenagers there was little chance of drowning. The only time anyone came close was one day when Christi, their two-year-old niece, jumped in with her ruffled little dress on. Her big sister grabbed her by the flounces and yanked her out. Scared but unhurt, she had more respect for water after that.

After the first couple of years, Jim and Mary installed a deck around the pool. This made it easier to get in and out and provided a sunbathing area, as well as keeping dirt and grass from being tracked in, thus lowering maintenance time and expense. They installed a ladder and filters right away for maintaining the pool easily. Many pool kits come complete with these items as well as any needed chemicals.

The thing that amazed Jim and Mary was how long the swimming pool lasted. They were pleasantly surprised that their teenage grandchildren were eventually swimming in the same pool - as well as the children of that two-year-old niece who took such an early plunge.

The Cocktail Test

I AM LAIDBACK!

You’re so relaxed it’s intoxicating. People feel like they can really be themselves around you. You believe “easy come, easy go” - and you are always ready to roll with the punches.

You don’t get involved in drama, and you usually have a clear head. You are content to sit back and watch. You get a lot of joy from simply allowing things to unfold.
