Better Safe Than Sorry!

December 27, 2009
A friend has decided to invest a large sum of money in a new business venture that was offered to him. But because there is a large amount of money involved, I told him to check first their private placement memorandum. It is a a legal document that institutions and businesses use to describe the securities they are offering for participants and buyers. I suggested he ask for a copy and have his lawyer check it just to make sure that his investment and his interests are protected. Better safe than sorry! let’s face it, there are lots of scammers out there and they will do everything to steal your hard-earned money.

Life Insured!

I am looking for more information on life insurance and my search led me on this website: http://www.wholesaleinsurance.net. The info they provided is really helpful and it answered all my questions regarding life insurance and how it will help me and my loved ones in the future. Now all I need to do is compare life insurance quotes and see which one is more affordable and right for my needs and financial situation.

My Favorite Gift!

I received a lot of gifts from friends this Christmas but my favorite is the electric griddle from Ate Levie. I’ve been wanting to buy one for myself but I guess Santa read my list and had my friend buy it for me. Now I can cook pancakes, bacon, eggs and other griddle food easily! :)

Emergency!

Last Christmas eve, the husband of a dear friend was rushed in the hospital. She found him lying on the floor when she got home from work. She called 911 right away and they brought him at the nearest hospital. Thank God he didn’t suffer any brain injury because he bumped his head hard on the table and floor when he collapsed. All that’s left is a big bruise near his right eye. And thank goodness too for his Medicare supplement insurance because it took care of his remaining hospital bills. The doctors had to conduct a series of “expensive” and complicated tests (brain scans, etc.) just to make sure there aren’t any damage on his brain.

AVENUE Q Comes to Salt Lake City!

December 22, 2009

Gosh! I was so excited when I learned that AVENUE Q is coming to Utah next year! They will have a series of broadway musical shows in Salt Lake City on February 2010 at the Capitol Theater. It was actually my friend who saw the ad at EventSetter.com and she knew that I love to watch broadway shows so she called me right away. I’m definitely watching it! By the way, just in case you don’t know, I used to act on stage too. That’s is why I love theater so much. And I believe the best actors are those who act live in front of many people. Why? Because there are no take two’s in broadway shows. If you forget your line or your dance step, the director cannot call for a cut. That is why you have to master everything! This reminds me of those American Idol hopefuls who went to audition in Salt Lake City but blew their chance when they forgot the lines of their song. Well, stage fright is pretty normal especially when cameras are in your face but when you go to a battle such as American Idol, you’ve got to be ready and you must give your best!

Stocking Stuffer

December 15, 2009

Dearest Santa,

I just want to remind you that you have 10 days left to fill my stocking. I hung a bigger stocking this year so you can leave bigger gifts. LOL! And just in case you are having a hard time choosing which presents to put in my stocking, don’t worry because I made a list. Hope this helps!

My wishes for this Christmas are: Chi Flat Iron by Farouk, Coach Pave Multi Charm Bracelet and Coach New OP Art Heart Stud Earrings, Coach Carly Sig Purple Flats, Coach Large Signature Zoe Hobo Tote Bag, Pyrex Baking Set, and a free gift certificate to a liposuction clinic. LOL!

Time to Chill!

December 14, 2009
Now that my mom-in-law is here, I feel like going away for a few days or a week with the husband and indulge in an Adults Only Caribbean Vacation. It has been awhile since we had a “romantic” time together and now is the perfect time because we have someone reliable and trustworthy who can take care of our little boy while we are away. And speaking of romantic destinations, the El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels on the secluded white-sand beaches on the Mexican Riviera Maya is on top of my list. I have read so many good reviews about these hotels that’s why I’m 100% sure that the husband and I will have a great time.
