Happiness vs. Pleasure

June 22, 2009
Cherry got a message that on this day, God wants her to know…
… that happiness has nothing to do with pleasure.

You feel pleasure when you want something and you get it. Or when you don’t want something and you remove it. Pleasure is always relative. Happiness is absolute. Happiness is the understanding and acceptance of life as it is in this very moment as completely perfect, because every creation of God is perfect. The degree to which you do not accept life in all of the Divine forms is the degree to which you suffer.

See what God wants you to know…

So Excited!

June 13, 2009

Every time hubby and I will talk about our upcoming trip to LA, I can’t help but get really excited. Gosh! Just imagine all those exciting tourist destinations in LA - Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood and the Walk of Fame, Rodeo Drive, Six Flags Magic Mountain and a whole lot more! I’m not even sure if we can visit all these places in 3 days but we will surely try! And of course, I wouldn’t miss Jollibee, Chowking and Goldilocks. I am going to pig out and I don’t care if I gain more weight. LOL! The best diet pills will surely come in handy but I’ll just think about that after the trip. For now, I’ll just focus on the places and foods we are going to explore and devour once we get to LA!

I Need to be Rehabilitated!

Gosh, I got so many addictions right now. I badly need treatment! LOL! Anyway, here’s a list of my current addictions.

1. Boys Over Flowers / Boys Before Flowers - it’s a Korean Version of Meteor Garden featuring the handsome and gorgeous F4.

2. Bejeweled Blitz - it’s an addicting game from PopCap and is now available as an APP at FaceBook where you get to compete with your online friends.

3. FaceBook - It’s better than Friendster bringing interactive fun and social networking to a whole new level.

4. eBay

5. Etsy

6. KSL.com - the classifieds section.

 7. And of course there’s TWITTER! ;)

Almost Home!

June 4, 2009

Hubby just called and he’s already in LA! Jeez, I am so excited! One more day to go and I’ll get to see my dearest hubby again after 9 long days of being away from each other. And I am really glad his trip went well. No delays and no lost luggages. And most importantly, he got all the “pasalubong” I asked him to buy in our beloved homeland - Philippines. :D You should see me smiling from ear to ear. Hehe!

Anyway, along with my pasalubongs, hubby also got a long list of “pabili” from our families and friends back home. And on top of the list are gadgets and gizmos such digital camcorders, laptops, iPods, external hard drives and a whole lot more tech-y items. Hehe! Oh well, I can very well understand why there is a buying frenzy. Why oh why? Well, it’s because it’s way cheaper to buy these gadgets here in the US than in Pinas. Here, take a look at how much you can save when you buy digital camcorders at THE SOURCE by Circuit City.

If you buy this in the Philippines, you will pay double the price. But here, you can get it a lot cheaper and sometimes for a special discounted price.

BBQ Party

Just got home from a BBQ Party with my friends! And as usual, I’m so stuffed! But it’s okay. I don’t mind the extra calories because I haven’t been eating well in the past week. It’s hard to make a decent meal with a whining baby you know. Hehe! Well anyway, going back to the BBQ party, we had it at our friend’s backyard. We had pork and chicken BBQ - Pinoy style! Great company, great food… what more can I ask for! And I know there will be more parties to come because SUMMER is officially here!
