Barracuda Acquires Netcontinuum
September 21, 2007Yes, you’ve read that right! Barracuda Networks Inc., the worldwide leader in email and Web security appliances, has recently acquired NetContinuum, the leading provider of Web Application Firewalls. The company was excited to announce this last September 17, 2007 as this makes them a strong contender in the Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) market. Along with this acquisition is the merge of the NetContinuum’s 75 employees in the Barracuda Networks team. Barracuda also plans to maintain support for NetContinuum’s existing products as well as to increase investment in product development in the ADC product category.
